Z Machine - Hardware

Z Machine is a future video game system that has a DVD Player, a CD Player, Blu-Ray Disc Player, Internet Area (which uses Shockwave Player), and Shopping Area.  The Colors it will come in are Dark Blue, Red, Green, Black, and Purple.

Some special features it has are Create your very own Traker Pal, and take care of it, and even build your own house!  It has two fans built in, so the system won't overheat.  It has built-in 180 Gigabyte memory hard drive, to save all those games without buying a memory card.  It has a Video Shopping Area for renting videos, or buying videos to watch on your Z Machine.

Z Machine has a Music folder to upload music from your MP3 Player.  It also has a photo Folder to transfer all of your photos, and you can edit them.

Z Machine's Menu is kind of like your PC Desktop Layout.  It has icons, for all of your games, and folders you have.  At the bottom, it has Settings Bar, where you can make all of your settings for the system.

It has a News and Forecast Area, so you can check the weather anywhere, and find some interesting News about the country.

It is the first system to include 3D technology, while playing a video game.  Wear your customized glasses, and your adventure will be all around you.  Everything just pops out.  It is really cool, and is only used
in a few games.

The release that is not yet confirmed is planned to be in the eighth generation.  It should release around the time of the Wii 2, Playstation 4, Xbox 720, and the Apple iBox.

What are Cards?

Z Machine has deleted the disks, and we have adapted to cards.  How do cards work you say?  Everyone knows how disks can be a havoc.  They can scratch, they can take your fingerprints, and they can be a problem when it comes to storage.  Now you can go to your local electronics store, and buy a card.  The card is a piece of plastic, and it usally says the title of the game, and maybe a picture.  Pay the price of the game, go home, and turn on your Z Machine.  Click on the icon on your Home menu, Create New Game.  Once there, enter the serial number from the back of the card, and click ok.  Now you will see the title of the game, and a small picture.  It will say Ok to download, or Don't Download Now.  If you click Ok to download, the game will take 5 minutes maximum to download your game.  Once it is complete, it will ask you if you wish to create a Home icon for your game.  If you don't, that's fine, just click on the Start menu to access it.  Now click on the icon, and it will start your game.  That's not all.  If you're feeling lazy, and you have your Z machine connected to Z Machine Online, you can buy your card online at the Z Machine Store!  It will charge your credit card, and then give you your serial number, and all you have to do is enter it.  Don't worry about the manuals.  On every game's Main Menu, there will be a button that says Manual, and you can view the whole manual for the game.  Cards are in, and Disks are out!
